We’re excited to announce that the MyGo Containers™ line of reusable to-go containers are now NSF approved and can be included in any specification that requires NSF certification. Each of the seven containers has the designation.
NSF International is an accredited, independent third-party certification body that tests and certifies products to verify they meet specific public health requirements. For a product to become NSF certified, the product design and materials are reviewed and tested. Most often in a product like MyGo Containers™, the review focuses on cleanability and sanitation. The design is evaluated by NSF to ensure that the product is easily cleaned to ensure that it can be safely reused multiple times and will easily be sanitized between each use. Additionally, the materials are verified to be safe when in contact with food, even when used to warm food in a microwave. Many companies and organizations look for NSF certified products because it lets them know that the manufacturer complies with the strict standards and procedures imposed by NSF.
