Like every retail business, we sometimes have too many products on hand. While the majority of the products we offer are products that we already have on order from a customer, there are many products that we sell quite frequently which we will stock. These are usually smallwares items; kitchen utensils, steam table pans, sheet pans disposable products and much more. We also inventory our Cook’s Brand meal serving trays, flatware, tumblers and mugs.
Occasionally, though, we’ll have a purchase of something that just doesn’t fit our usual parameters. This includes orders that were cancelled and the manufacturer wouldn’t take as a return, items that are discontinued and we have a very limited amount of stock and the occasional ordering error.
While this is bad news for Cook’s, it’s great news for our customers. We typically place these products on our Clearance page of the website. Usually, this works out. The customer gets a good price and we sell the item. But, ever so often, the amount of product we have that is ‘clearance’ just gets to be too much and that’s when we launch an overstock sale.
That time has come to Cook’s right now. We are working on significantly reducing our inventory and will be doing so for at least a few months. The quickest way to see what is on Sale is to go to our Clearance page. You can also go to our Current Promotion page and see any flyers for products that are on sale. At this time, you can view our Liquidation Flyer to see items that are drastically reduced for a quick sale. Remember that we will be adding more items to our clearance all summer long.
