Insulated delivery bags help maintain foods at the proper temperatures during transportation. Typically, when we think of delivery bags we think of transporting pizza, however delivery bags can be utilized for so much more than that. Delivery bags help prevent foods from becoming soggy and keep foods fresh during the transportation process. These insulated bags work great for transporting wings, hot side orders, traditional pizzas, and much more. With that being said, today we are going to review the different types of delivery bags available and the features available.
Delivery bags can be found in a variety of sizes, materials, and configurations. Typically, you can find insulated delivery bags ranging anywhere from 19” to 25” in size, with either top loading or end loading design. When it comes to top loading insulated bags, these bags are perfect for stacking multiple foods, and allow operators to easily transport multiple foods within one bag. End loading insulated food bags allow users to slide food directly into the front of the bag and can accommodate anywhere from singular plates of food to numerous pizza boxes.
Delivery bags typically have either a nylon interior or a PVC interior. Both have numerous benefits, however PVC interior bags are typically ideal for short distance deliveries, whereas nylon interior delivery bags are more breathable and allow for your transported goods to stay fresh for longer periods of time. When it comes to insulation, you have the choice between PVC, Polyurethane, or Polyester. Depending on your desired usage, and budget will determine which bag is your best fit. As far as the exterior of delivery bags goes, you have two options, nylon, or vinyl. Both materials are water resistant, which makes them ideal for transporting in all weather conditions.
